A team from ICEESR partnering institution in South Korea was in Nigeria during April 28th to May 1, 2014 to promote and evaluate on-going activities. ICEESR hosted the team in Abuja where meetings with various stakeholders were held.
The visiting team from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) South Korea included Prof. Seunghee Han, School of Environment and Engineering, GIST and Dr. Ken Widmer, International Environmental Analysis and Education Centre, GIST.
The various stakeholders that met with the team included representatives from the following institutions and organizations: Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin; Bingham University, Karu; University of Jos, Jos; Abuja Water Board, Abuja; SHEDA, Federal Ministry of Science and Technology; and Federal Ministry of Water Resources.
The team took a tour of the Bwari Water treatment Facility, Abuja and were taken round by Dr. Victoria Anyakora.
